About CPB

The Consumer Protection Bureau (CPB) is a leading UK-based independent advocacy body championing consumer rights and systemic reform. We tackle injustices in finance, utilities, digital markets, and more—both nationally and globally.

Who We are Looking For

• ➤ Legal Experts – Experience in UK/international law professionals (active or retired)
• ➤ Global Policy Experience – Non-profit governance, regulatory bodies, think tanks, or campaigning organisations
• ➤ Fundraising Leaders – Experience in securing grants from government bodies, EU, relevant UN Agencies, or NGOs.
• ➤ Multilingual Professionals – English plus French, Spanish or other European language
• ➤ Independence and Integrity - No conflicts of interest with financial services, regulatory bodies, or firms under CPB scrutiny

Residency in the UK is not required. We welcome applicants from Europe and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• ➤ Advise on legal strategies and advocacy direction
• ➤ Contribute to governance, policy, and compliance oversight
• ➤ Support funding proposals and strategic partnerships
• ➤ Champion CPB’s core values of fairness, accountability, and transparency

Commitment

• ➤ Attend quarterly virtual board meetings
• ➤ Offer additional insights and feedback via email or brief consultations as needed
• ➤ Voluntary post with strategic impact and visibility
